We Believe

Our Creed, Discipline, Rule of Order and Doctrine are derived from the Word of God as taught and revealed by the Holy Ghost. We believe that the Holy Scripture known as the Bible, is the inspired, infallible word of God, written by holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (John 14:26; I Corinth 2:9-13; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purposes, as well as omniscient and omnipresent. (Mark 12:32-33; 1 Corinth 8:4)

We believe that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, for it pleased the Father that in Him should all the fulness dwell. (Col 2:9)

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and as the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father…has declared him (St. John 1:18)”

We believe in the virgin birth. Jesus was both human and divine. (Luke 1:27-33; 1 Tim 2:5)

We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that He ascended on high and sent back His spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and it is that same Spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today. (1 Corinth 15:1-3)

We believe in baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth. (Acts 2:38)

We believe in a holy, sanctified life. We believe in divine healing, communion, and footwashing. We believe also in the glorious catching away (the rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take His people to heaven. (1 Thess 4:13-17)

We believe that Jesus is coming to earth again in person as a doctrine set forth by Scripture. Jesus and the Apostles taught it in the New Testament. (Matt 24: 1-34; Act 1:11; 1 Corinth 1:7-8; 1Thess 4:14-17)

We believe that Jesus is the only saving name … “And whatsoever you do in word or in deed, do all in the name of Jesus.”  (Acts 4:12; Col 3:17)
